This silk covered Litz wire is a custom-designed conductor with a single strand diameter of 0.071 mm, consisting of 250 strands twisted together. This conductor utilizes a unique double-layer nylon wrapping process, enhancing the stability of the multi-strand wire. Silk covered litz wire is a special conductor whose insulation layer uses natural or synthetic filament materials, such as natural silk, rayon, or nylon, wrapped around a metallic conductor such as copper or copper-clad aluminum. It balances excellent electrical properties with specific environmental requirements, making it suitable for a variety of applications.

High-Frequency and High-Temperature Environments: The insulation layer of natural or synthetic silk exhibits low dielectric loss at high frequencies, making it an ideal material for high-frequency transformers, inductors, and RF coils.
