Introduction

This is a taped Litz wire used for transformer windings. Its key feature is the ability to withstand high voltage, with a minimum dielectric strength of 6000V and an actual achievable range of 13,400V to 13,700V. If your transformer requires a certain level of high voltage withstand capability, this wire is the best choice for you.

The single strands are 0.1mm（38AWG） polyurethane enameled copper wire, available in two temperature ratings: 155°C and 180°C. It is constructed by twisting 3,000 strands together, with a finished outer diameter ranging from 7.38mm to 7.92mm.

The outer layer is wrapped with polyester-imide tape. We offer two options for the wrapping material: film and tape. For a 3,000-strand wire, we prefer to use tape, as it makes the internal stranded construction more stable.
