Upgrade your listening with the Silk covered litz wiret; a USTC litz wire custom designed for the audiophile. At its core is 42 AWG enameled copper wire, the litz wire is wrapped externally in a double layer of natural silk.

In its application as a dielectric material, natural silk has a very low dielectric constant and dissipation factor which results in retardation of signal energy loss and retardation of transients and micro-dynamics. Its helical wrapping helps to absorb mechanical micro-vibrations, decreasing timing smear, and the natural hygroscopic nature of silk fiber absorbs moisture from the air, making capacitance stable against environmental variations.

Natural silk also provides excellent flexibility and has no memory effect, meaning that it applies less stress to equipment jacks over time. The double layer wrapping guarantees uniform geometry across the cable enhancing electrical stability.

The sonic result: a quiet, noise-free background on which the instruments are precisely placed, vocals that are natural and full bodied, and bass that is articulate and well defined.
